Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics Kempton Park seeks a Logistics Engineer focused on contract logistics. You will join a WMS implementation team, analyzing and designing warehousing and production logistics solutions to support customers.

You will work with operations, IT, and clients to align needs with DSV strategies, perform data loading and interface mapping, and travel locally and internationally as required to deliver robust deployments.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering.
• Computer literacy and Excel (intermediate to advanced) required.
• Experience with WMS (Blue Yonder/Dispatcher or Red Prairie) preferred.
• 1+ years in Logistics/ warehousing or related field.
• Unendorsed license and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Form part of a WMS implementation team throughout the implementation process.
• Warehouse process analysis and optimization.
• Process gap analysis and interface mapping.
• Data setup, loading and system configuration/testing.
• Travel locally and internationally as needed.
