Job summary

Qualifications

• Matric (Senior Certificate) required.
• National Diploma/Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
• Preferred: Certification in supply chain management or logistics.
• Valid SA Driver’s License required.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
• Experience with logistics software and systems.
• Experience in the Telecommunications Industry.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Practical knowledge of Supply Chain; Basic Technical Telecommunications knowledge.

Our client is searching for a Logistics Manager to join their team in Johannesburg

ROLE PURPOSE

The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the Client's Contract Logistics operations. This includes the managing and ordering of inventory, forecasting, coordinating the movement of goods from Client to Region, management and monitoring of overall stock accuracy as well as Vehicle stock accuracy, handling shipping and receiving, oversee monthly and quarterly Audits, Weekly and Monthly Reporting requirements and ensuring compliance with all relevant processes, governance, regulations, standards, and risk mitigation. The Logistics Manager will work closely with Internal Regional teams as well as other departments, such as Operations County Leads, Materials Management and Procurement, etc., to optimise processes and improve efficiency.
