Job summary

MH Solutions in Kempton Park seeks a senior sales professional to identify and close large-scale new business opportunities within contract logistics. Drive growth nationwide and in targeted verticals, managing solution design and tender processes to deliver profitable, low-risk offerings.

You will build a multi-year pipeline, coordinate cross-functional teams, and translate client strategy into concrete supply chain requirements, ensuring revenue targets are met.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• Tertiary qualification in Logistics / Supply Chain / CPIM / CSCP; MBA advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of SharePoint and MS Visio is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of WMS and ERP systems; Red Prairie & SAP advantageous.
• Knowledge of automotive production systems is advantageous.
• MS Dynamics familiarity.
• High-level negotiation skills.
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
• Strategic thinking and excellent sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Exceed personal new business targets within defined verticals.
• Manage the opportunity lifecycle through to closure.
• Develop compelling business value propositions for new opportunities.
• Articulate value to clients by using industry knowledge.
• Identify and quantify value creation for clients.
• Align client objectives with contract logistics objectives for growth.
• Translate client strategy into supply chain requirements.
• Link client strategy to offerings and services.
• Develop and manage a multi-year pipeline of opportunities.
• Record opportunities in CRM and progress the sales cycle.
• Collect data to develop detailed, costed solutions.
• Anchor revenue targets with closing cycles.
• Lead tender processes and ensure on-time completion of tenders/RFQs.
• Build and articulate solution designs; obtain internal approvals.
• Ensure successful implementation and realization of revenue.
