Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Buyer or Procurement role focusing on indirect categories.
• Strong understanding of procurement best practices including sourcing, negotiation and contract management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement process for indirect goods and services, from requisition to payment.
• Identify potential suppliers, conduct RFPs/RFQs, and evaluate proposals on cost, quality and service.
• Negotiate contract terms, pricing and SLAs with vendors to achieve best value.
• Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, monitor performance and address issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures and ethics.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs.
• Monitor market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Maintain procurement records including purchase orders, contracts and supplier databases.
• Prepare reports on purchasing activities, savings and supplier performance.
