Placements24 is recruiting a strategic HR Business Partner to support our client in Polokwane, Limpopo. The role focuses on aligning HR strategies with business needs in the industrial sector, covering talent management, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness.

The position is hybrid, balancing on-site engagement with remote operations, and requires collaboration with operational leaders to drive compliant, productive HR practices across divisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HRM, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
• 7+ years in an HR Business Partner role, preferably in industrial/manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of South African labor law and employee relations.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and build relationships.
• Experience with HRIS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior management and line managers to deliver HR solutions that support business objectives.
• Provide expert advice on recruitment, performance management, succession planning, and employee development.
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues with fair and consistent policy application.
• Ensure compliance with SA labor laws and industry regulations.
• Develop HR initiatives to improve engagement, productivity and retention.
• Collaborate with central HR to ensure consistency of policies across the organization.
• Analyze HR data to identify trends and propose improvements.
• Lead change management within business units supported.
• Facilitate talent management processes and development needs for high-potential employees.

Education
