Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to support operations in Randburg, Gauteng. This hybrid role requires aligning HR strategy with business goals, driving talent development, engagement and organizational effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will have 6–8 years in HR, 3+ as HRBP, and a strong background in talent management, employee relations and compensation & benefits within financial services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in HRM, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
• 6–8 years HR experience with at least 3 years in an HR Business Partner role.
• Proven talent management, employee relations, performance management, and compensation & benefits experience.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving abilities, and proficient in HRIS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned to organizational goals.
• Provide guidance on talent management, workforce planning, succession, and development.
• Manage complex employee relations issues with fair policy application.
• Oversee performance management and drive a high-performance culture.
• Develop compensation and benefits strategies to attract and retain talent.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives and foster an inclusive work environment.
• Support organizational design and change management initiatives.
• Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to leaders for decision making.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and HR best practices in financial services.
• Collaborate with other HR functions to deliver integrated HR solutions.
