Placements24 is seeking a strategic Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives in Richards Bay and surrounding regions. You will identify opportunities, forge partnerships and drive revenue growth while building strong relationships with key clients and influencers in KwaZulu-Natal.

The role requires a proven track record in high-level negotiations and market analysis. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in business development or related strategic roles, excellent negotiation

Qualifications

• 7+ years in business development or related strategic role
• Proven ability to identify, develop and close opportunities
• Strong market analysis and strategic planning experience
• Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to build relationships with senior executives
• Experience in KwaZulu-Natal region, Richards Bay preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and strategic partnerships in Richards Bay and nearby regions
• Conduct market research to identify trends, threats and growth areas
• Develop and execute business development strategies to meet revenue and market share goals
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners and industry leaders
• Negotiate and close complex deals with favorable terms
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and operations to implement initiatives
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences
• Prepare and present compelling proposals to prospective clients
• Track BD metrics and provide insights for improvement
