Job summary

605 Adcorp BLU a division of Adcorp Workforce in Durban seeks an Employee Relations Manager to provide expertise in employee relations and ensure adherence to labour laws and internal policies. You will advise on procedures, manage disputes, and drive process improvements across the organisation.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience and a Labour Relations related degree. TES experience is advantageous, with a focus on compliant governance and stakeholder service.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5 years in a relevant role.
• Education: Bachelors Labour Relations Management / BComm in Law/LLB / BComm HR specialising in Labour Relations.
• Specialise in Labour Relations TES environment advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Improve quality, service and outputs; advise on procedures and adherence to policies and labour law.
• Identify operational problems, determine causes and suggest improvements.
• Plan work outputs and process improvements within the area of specialisation.
• Compile reports and present inputs for managerial decision-making.
• Implement and manage fair employee relations practices aligned to business objectives.
• Stay updated on government rules and labour laws to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with business areas to educate staff on laws and regulations.
• Provide specialist advice and support to ensure effective solutions.
• Deliver training on labour law processes for line management and HR.
• Represent the area at the Bargaining Council and CCMA processes.
• Support management in resolving disputes including union negotiations and wage talks.
• Monitor labour environment trends for clients and advise accordingly.
• Advise on compliance and risks related to labour legislation.
• Represent the organisation in client-specific union negotiations for favourable outcomes.
• Ensure accurate reporting and trends analysis for ER activities.
• Involve in risk, governance and cost-efficiency initiatives.
• Contribute to knowledge improvement and change initiatives.
• Motivate and develop direct reports; foster learning and development.
• Promote stakeholder service excellence and engagement with clients.
