Job summary

Old Mutual in Johannesburg is seeking a CSI Specialist to coordinate and manage social impact initiatives, partnerships and employee volunteerism while ensuring governance, financial oversight and FSC evidence.

You will lead end-to-end CSI projects, engage NGOs and internal stakeholders, monitor outcomes, report impacts, manage budgets, and align initiatives with SED/CE requirements and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Management, Business, Sustainability or a related field.
• A relevant postgraduate qualification or certification in Monitoring and Evaluation, Project Management or Social Impact would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage CSI projects end to end from assessment through contracting, implementation, monitoring and close-out.
• Engage NGOs, beneficiaries, implementation partners and internal stakeholders to support CSI delivery.
• Apply governance and risk-management processes to CSI submissions and initiatives, including documentation and evidence retention.
• Coordinate standardised monitoring and evaluation processes and tools; track indicators, outputs and outcomes; coordinate reporting.
• Manage expenditure against budgets and contribute to annual and longer-term business planning.
