Job summary

Be Different Recruitment seeks an experienced Corporate Account Manager in Sandton to oversee strategic client relationships, ensure compliance with payment terms, and optimize account structures for efficiency and governance.

You will drive data accuracy, collaborate with procurement teams, manage invoicing portals, and lead proactive debt collection while maintaining exceptional service and clear communication with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent
• Accounting or relevant business qualification
• 5+ years in senior credit or account management
• Experience with corporate account management and procurement processes
• Advanced bookkeeping and complex payment allocations

Responsibilities

• Ensure assigned customers remain satisfied and compliant with payment terms
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date account data
• Perform daily banking and allocate payments precisely for assigned accounts
• Conduct proactive debt collection through ongoing communication
• Identify account issues early and resolve them
• Apply blocking/unblocking strategies per guidelines
• Assess accounts for handover or write-off as needed
• Recover equipment from defaulting customers and prioritise new accounts
• Execute targeted debt collection projects as directed by management
• Handle overflow calls and emails as backup support
• Resolve day-to-day service requirements for assigned customers
