Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Construction Planner to join the team in Kimberley. You will develop, maintain, and optimize detailed construction schedules across complex projects, collaborating with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure timely delivery and efficient resource use.

The role requires strategic planning, advanced software proficiency, and strong communication to mitigate risks and keep projects on track, with a hybrid work model offering flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Construction Planner or Scheduler with a strong portfolio.
• Expert proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or Asta Powerproject.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed construction project schedules.
• Collaborate with project teams to define scope, activities, and dependencies.
• Identify critical path activities and propose mitigation strategies.
• Monitor progress against baseline schedule and adjust as needed.
• Coordinate with site teams for progress updates and forecasts.
• Prepare reports on schedule status, resources, and delays.
