Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Construction Planner/Scheduler to optimize timelines and resource allocation for projects around Vereeniging. The role combines on-site assessment with remote development of detailed project schedules to keep milestones on track.

You will develop, maintain, and integrate master schedules across projects, collaborate with managers, engineers, and subcontractors, and anticipate delays to keep projects delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction planning and scheduling.
• Solid knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed master schedules for multiple construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather schedule-related information.
• Identify critical path activities and scheduling conflicts.
• Analyze progress and report on schedule performance, noting variances and proposing solutions.
• Develop look-ahead schedules and resource loading plans.
• Ensure integration of all project phases into the master schedule.
