Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Construction Planner/Scheduler to optimize timelines and resource allocation for projects around Vereeniging. The role combines on-site assessment with remote development of detailed project schedules to keep milestones on track.

You will develop, maintain, and integrate master schedules across projects, collaborate with managers, engineers, and subcontractors, and anticipate delays to keep projects delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction planning and scheduling.
• Solid knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client requires a meticulous and forward-thinking Construction Planner / Scheduler to optimize project timelines and resource allocation for projects based in and around Vereeniging. This role involves a hybrid approach, requiring both on-site assessment and remote development of detailed project schedules. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating comprehensive project plans, ensuring all milestones are achieved efficiently and effectively. Your ability to anticipate potential delays and proactively manage the schedule will be critical to project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed master schedules for multiple construction projects.


• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather schedule-related information.


• Identify critical path activities and potential scheduling conflicts.
