Job summary

Scatec ASA in Cape Town is seeking a Business and Cost Controller to partner with development teams and lead business performance analysis across units. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, profitability, and cash flow insights, while owning project accounting controls in the ERP environment.

The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on financial management in a fast-growing renewable energy group. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in finance and 3–5 years of relevant experience,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in finance, Business or equivalent.
• 3-5 years relevant work experience, preferably from an international environment.
• Big Four audit experience preferred.
• Ability to consolidate data from several sources for presentation.
• Strong networks and collaboration with non-finance functions.
• Quick learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Master Microsoft suite and BI tools.
• Understanding of ERP dynamics 365 and AI in processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality management information to support business unit decision making.
• Explain key drivers and trends to maximize profitability and cash generation.
• Interpret financial and non-financial data and its business impact.
• Support budgeting and forecasting for the Development segment.
• Improve group management reporting processes and AI-based tools.
• Own systems controlling over the Project Accounting module in the ERP.
• Project controlling across development projects from budgeting to monitoring cash flows.
