Job summary

Scatec Cape Town is seeking a Project Cost Controller to support the solar project portfolio in the Sub-Saharan region. The role partners with PMs, procurement and engineering to manage forecasts, cash flows and cost deltas, ensuring alignment with budgets and milestones.

The position reports to the Business Controlling Manager and offers exposure to international projects, driving profitability and value across multiple solar initiatives.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Business or equivalent.
• 3-6 years of relevant work experience, preferably from an international environment.
• 3+ Years experience; Finance Renewable Energy and Large Infrastructure Projects.
• Ability to consolidate data from several sources for presentation and to process large data volumes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMs, procurement and engineering to develop and maintain the project cost forecast.
• Generate project status reports for the project team and management.
• Monitor project cash flows and follow up milestone payments.
