Job summary

Recruitpro Solutions is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive drone and security solutions in Johannesburg, reporting to the CEO and growing new business across private security, government and industrial sectors.

You will develop and execute the BD strategy for drone, robotics and security solutions, build a pipeline of customers and partners, and coordinate tender submissions with stakeholders and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Aeronautical or related).
• MBA or management qualification advantageous.
• Proven business development or technical sales experience in engineering, security, robotics or aviation.
• Strong understanding of drone systems and how security companies use them.
• Established network within the private security industry.
• Public-sector tender and procurement experience advantageous.
• Knowledge of SA drone regulations (SACAA) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the business development strategy for drone, robotics and security solutions.
• Build a pipeline of customers, partners and tenders across private security, government and industry.
• Build relationships with security companies and recommend suitable drone solutions.
• Engage government and public-sector stakeholders, and coordinate tender submissions.
• Establish partnerships with drone manufacturers, integrators and technology providers.
• Prepare proposals and business cases, and lead commercial negotiations.
• Maintain CRM records, forecasts and management reporting.
