Job summary

betXchange is seeking an experienced Affiliate Manager to own and evolve its affiliate strategy across Sports, Casino, Racing, Lotto and Retail. You will identify opportunities, recruit partners, negotiate deals and drive performance using data.

Based in Sandton, you will collaborate with Marketing, Finance and Compliance to ensure profitable, compliant campaigns and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve betXchange's affiliate strategy across Sports, Casino, Racing, Lotto and Retail
• Identify new affiliate acquisition opportunities locally and internationally
• Build a diversified portfolio of high-performing affiliates
• Develop long-term affiliate growth plans aligned to acquisition targets
• Expand relationships across publishers, comparison sites, tipsters, influencers and content creators
• Continuously evaluate new partnership models and acquisition opportunities
• Identify and recruit new affiliate partners
• Negotiate commercial agreements and CPA, Rev Share or Hybrid deals
• Build strong relationships with high-value acquisition partners
• Monitor affiliate performance daily
• Optimise campaigns using acquisition, conversion and customer value data
• Improve CPA, FTD, ROI and LTV and player quality
• Build optimisation plans with affiliates to maximise commercial performance
• Identify underperforming partnerships and implement improvement strategies
• Ensure affiliate campaigns remain commercially profitable
• Negotiate commercial agreements and commission structures
• Manage insertion orders, commercial agreements and affiliate contracts
• Work closely with Finance to ensure accurate monthly reconciliations and commission payments
• Ensure affiliate spend delivers positive commercial return
• Monitor budgets and forecast affiliate performance
• Build reporting frameworks across the affiliate programme
• Produce weekly and monthly performance reports
• Analyse customer quality across acquisition sources
• Provide commercial recommendations based on data
• Identify trends, opportunities and emerging acquisition channels
• Report performance, forecasts and strategic recommendations to leadership
• Work closely with Digital, CRM, Brand and Campaign teams
• Ensure affiliates receive campaign assets and promotional calendars
• Coordinate campaign launches across affiliate partners
• Align promotions with broader marketing campaigns
• Ensure consistent messaging across all affiliate activity
• Ensure affiliate activity complies with all gambling regulations and advertising standards
• Monitor fraudulent activity and identify manipulation or bonus abuse
• Protect brand reputation across all partner activity
• Ensure all affiliate communications meet compliance requirements
• Conduct regular affiliate quality reviews
• Monitor competitor affiliate activity
• Track industry trends and new acquisition opportunities
• Recommend new technologies and partnership opportunities
• Maintain awareness of international affiliate best practice
• Continuously improve betXchange's affiliate programme
