Job summary

BET Software, a leading betting software provider in Sub-Saharan Africa with a growing international footprint, seeks a Recruitment Specialist to drive end-to-end talent acquisition. You will manage ads, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, perform checks, draft offers, and maintain HRIS data.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years recruitment experience.
• Previous experience recruiting within a technology sector.
• Relevant HR qualification or studying towards (preferred).
• Results driven: Delivers required business results; meets deadlines.
• Accountability: Follows through and takes action to address obstacles.
• Reporting: Collates and verifies reporting figures/statistics.

Responsibilities

• Follow the recruitment process and obtain pre-authorization before proceeding.
• Draft internal and external advertisements for vacancies and place adverts after sign-off.
• Conduct pre-screening interviews against job spec and present CVs to Line Manager.
• Coordinate/facilitate interviews and schedule with relevant Line Managers.
• Ensure competency-based interview questions are used during selection.
• Perform reference checks and other background checks as required and collect payslips.
• Draft offers and obtain package approval before presenting to candidate.
• Maintain applicant/interview data in HRIS and provide feedback to candidates and agencies.
• Build and maintain a pool of ready-to-source candidates and a candidate referral database.
• Coordinate psychometric assessments and manage scheduling and consent.
• Provide daily/weekly/monthly recruitment reports and meet targets.
