Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional in Sandton is seeking an Account Manager II to build relationships with key customers, understand their needs and demonstrate the value of LexisNexis products. You’ll use customer and commercial insights to protect and grow revenue while supporting team members to achieve shared goals.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of print and online products, the relevant market and customer domain, with the ability to adopt new products.
• Ability to be a positive role model within the team and wider business.
• Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding expectations.
• Strong communication, time-management and planning skills.
• Ability to identify commercial opportunities, supported by customer service and sales experience.
• Experience retaining and growing customers in a B2B sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop team members to achieve shared goals.
• Complete planning, documentation, reporting and data recording in line with agreed methods and targets.
• Achieve or exceed revenue targets by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
• Identify key account needs and demonstrate the business value of LexisNexis products.
• Deliver the agreed quality and frequency of customer contact.
• Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to protect and grow revenue.
