Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in civil engineering with stormwater focus.
• At least 4 years' civil design experience, especially stormwater.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software.
• Experience with hydrological/hydraulic modeling tools (HEC-RAS, EPANET, SWMM).
• Knowledge of SA standards and municipal requirements.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within North West province.

Responsibilities

• Design stormwater drainage systems including culverts, channels, ponds, and piping.
• Perform hydrological and hydraulic analyses to determine design flows.
• Create detailed design drawings and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with managers, engineers, and clients to meet requirements.
• Assist with tender documentation and cost estimates.
• Review drawings during construction phase and stay updated on best practices.
