Job summary

RecruitSmith (PTY) LTD is seeking a diligent Stock Controller to manage stock control, receiving, dispatching and warehouse organisation in Strand. You will maintain accurate stock records and assist technicians with materials for daily work.

The ideal candidate has Grade 12, basic computer literacy (MS Excel and email), strong numerical and administrative skills, and the ability to read delivery notes. A valid driver’s licence is advantageous; you must be reliable and able to work both

Qualifications

Grade 12 / Matric.
Previous experience in a storeroom, warehouse or stock control environment will be advantageous.
Basic computer literacy (MS Excel and email).
Good numerical and administrative skills.
Ability to read and understand delivery notes and stock documentation.
Physically fit and able to assist with lifting and moving stock.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Valid driver’s licence will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Stock Control & Inventory Management: assist with receiving, checking and recording incoming stock; ensure stock is labelled, organised and stored; monitor stock levels and report low-stock items; assist with regular stock counts and documentation; identify and report damaged, missing or incorrect stock.
