Astral Foods Ltd is seeking two storemen for the Engineering Store Department in Johannesburg. The role covers stock reconciliation, daily cycle counts, stock takes, and tracking aging or expiring stock, with strong emphasis on accuracy and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or higher education.
• Fluent in English with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate with basic ERP exposure would be advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Stock reconciliation and daily stock recording in ERP LN.
• Capture issue notes daily to ensure accurate stock movements.
• Maintain housekeeping and comply with 20 Keys Level 4 standards.
• Ensure stock and non-stock items are received in line with KPI procedures.
• Conduct weekly and monthly stock takes on time and accurately.
• Control stock issuing to internal customers per procedures.
• Maintain 20 Keys/HACCP/risk control.

Festive, one of South Africa's leading integrated poultry producers within the Astral Group, is looking for 2x storeman in the Engineering Store Department commercial division. The role will be stock reconciliation, conducting daily cycle counts, stock-takes, and tracking aging or expiring stock.

The Ideal Candidate Would Be Responsible For

• Assisting the store controller with daily store admin tasks.
• Daily capturing of issue notes into ERP LN system to ensure reliable, accurate stock transactions take place as per Astral procedures.
• Ensure proper housekeeping is maintained and is done in line with our 20 Keys - Level 4 accredited standards in stores.
• Ensuring that all stock/non stock items received is done in-line with stores KPI’S and Astral procedures.
• Ensure that weekly and monthly stock takes are done timeously and accurately as per Astral procedures.
• Ensure that all issuing of stock to internal customers are done correctly as per stores KPI’S and Astral procedures.
• Maintaining 20 Keys/ HACCP / Risk Control.

The Successful Candidate Must Meet The Following Requirements

• Grade 12
• At least 3 years’ experience in stores environment.
• Computer literate.
• Fluent in English and have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management.
• Must be willing to work shifts.
