Job summary

Mr Price Group Secunda Square is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations and drive customer service and sales performance.

You will oversee stock control, lead a team, conduct training, and ensure compliance with store policies while delivering on KPIs. This role requires a Grade 12, 2–3 years supervisory experience, and strong MS Office skills, with a passion for retail.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 qualification is required.
• 2–3 years experience in supervisory/Assistant Store Management role.
• Understanding of Sales & Service Management.
• Budgeting skills are essential.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support the store manager in daily store operations.
• Manage stock reception, unpacking, replenishment and stockroom housekeeping.
• Analyse sales and profitability to plan actions and monitor store expenditure.
• Provide feedback on product performance to support centre.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and brand awareness.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Lead, coach and develop the store team to meet KPIs.
• Recruit and manage performance per company policies.
