A leading retail company in Knysna is seeking a Store Manager. This position involves driving store sales, overseeing operations, and managing a diverse workforce. The ideal candidate must have a strong FMCG background, at least 5 years of store management experience, and a relevant educational background. Responsibilities also include ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and managing administrative tasks. Formación

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a store management role within a retail/FMCG store operations environment.
• Extensive people management experience of a large and diverse workforce.
• Financial management experience (budgets, profit and loss statements, financial ratios, etc.).

Responsabilidades

• Ensure achievement of store’s financial performance by driving sales.
• Manage all operational activities of the store, including expenses and stock management.
• Maintain visual merchandising and promotional standards.
• Develop and manage employees for success.
• Schedule staff according to the labour policy.
• Handle administrative responsibilities effectively.
• Execute customer service initiatives for a great experience.
