Qualifications

• Matric is required; retail management qualification is advantageous.
• 5+ years store management/supervisory experience, FMCG/retail food preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen with P&L, stock and sales targets.
• Solid understanding of SA retail legislation, labour practices, and food safety.
• Proficiency in MS Office and POS/stock management systems.

Responsabilités

• Direct daily store operations to achieve sales targets and business growth.
• Manage the P&L, including monitoring cash flows, expenses, margins, and cost control.
• Oversee stock control, inventory ordering, merchandising, and pricing strategies.
• Ensure strict compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and health and safety legislation.
• Lead, mentor, and train store personnel while fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture.
• Oversee administrative functions, cash management, and reporting to senior management.
