Job summary

iKhokha is seeking a hands-on Store Manager for our Khayelitsha location to lead from the front, drive results, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will manage store operations, staff of 5, and partner with sales to hit targets while upholding the iKhokha brand in the local community.

This role requires strong leadership, people management, and retail operations know-how, with a focus on growth in informal markets and a commitment to excellent service and stock control.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in store management.
• Strong interpersonal and people management skills.
• Experience in informal market retail and growth focus.
• Proficient in MS Office; English and Afrikaans fluency preferred; Xhosa optional.

Responsibilities

• Manage store with driving sales and implement in-branch marketing.
• Oversee branch P&Ls and lead a team of 5 staff.
• Represent the brand and engage with the local community.
• Recruit, train, and apply performance management for staff.
• Maintain stock, asset register, and POS understanding.
