Job summary

Cashbuild Limited in Soweto invites applications for a Cabifit Manager (Internal Applications Only). The role focuses on protecting and growing market share and profit within the Store, aligned to the Store, Area and Company strategy.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years in a similar position, Grade 12, strong leadership and HR management skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Carpentry knowledge is an advantage; a valid driver's license and own transport are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar position.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Grade 12 with at least 3 (three) years related Retail / wholesale experience management or 5 (five) years related Retail / wholesale experience
• Experience in carpentry products and cutting & edging would be an advantage.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must have well developed Business Acumen.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Must have computer literate (Basic computer literacy).
• Must have strong Leadership Skills.
• Must have strong Administrative Skills.
• Must have own transport and cell phone.
• Must have sound knowledge of Health and Safety aspects in line with local (OHSA) and / or neighbouring Countries legislation.
• Must have strong Human Resources Management Skills.

Responsibilities

• Issuing and follow up of quotations to generate sales.
• Quote process and control Special Orders.
• Ensure estimations and cutting list correct and completed within the agreed timeframe.
• Conduct Competitor Analysis to ensure competitiveness of the Store.
• Ensure the minimising of wastage and customer complaints through accurate calibration of machines according to cutting list.
• Promote Loyalty Programmes (VIC and Charge Card Customers).
• Manage an efficient delivery service and ensuring that the correct rates are charged.
• Grow and protect Profitable Market Share in your Store as per company benchmarks.
• Order stock and manage shrinkage within the Store.
• Recruit and Induct all Employees.
• Ensure Training and Development (certification and succession / back up plans) is in place for the Store.
• Manage OHASA safety standards.
• Manage the Financial Model, benchmarks, and budgets.
• Monitor adherence of Company standard compliance in Store.
• Implement and maintain controls and disciplines.
• Implement Corrective Action Plans (PIP) where necessary.
• Ensure the minimising of wastage through quality control of cutting and edging process and reading of cutting lists.
• Leadership: take the lead and inspire others.
