Durbanville Classifieds in Durbanville, Cape Town, seeks a Customer Service Consultant to deliver exceptional service to walk-in and telephonic customers and support branch operations.

You will assist customers with storage queries, prepare quotations and invoices, and help drive commercial revenue while maintaining accurate administration. The role requires confident communication and strong computer literacy, with a focus on upselling opportunities and customer satisfaction.

Formación

• Matric / Grade 12 is essential.
• Experience in customer service, administration, sales support, branch operations or similar commercial environment.
• Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable working with numbers, quotations, invoices and customer accounts.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome and assist walk-in customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Handle incoming customer calls, inquiries and requests.
• Understand customers' storage requirements and recommend appropriate storage solutions.
• Prepare quotations, purchase orders and invoices; follow up on payments.
• Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally and maintain relationships.
• Identify upsell opportunities and support commercial targets.
• Maintain accurate customer records and branch documentation.
• Provide administrative support to the branch and commercial team.
