Job summary

Clicks Group is seeking a Stock Clerk to administer stock movements and adjustments within a specific section at Mahogany Ridge DC, Durban, ensuring stock balances between physical stock and the system to meet customer and scorecard targets.

Responsibilities include coordinating stock movement, minimising shrinkage, auditing processes, liaising with internal partners, investigating deviations, and supporting the picking team to have stock in the correct slots.

Qualifications

• Essential: Basic Numeracy & Literacy.
• Essential: Problem solving skills.
• Essential: Conflict resolution and management of conflict skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain stock movement and balances in the section to ensure accuracy of stock.
• Accept joint responsibility for scratches and adjustments to minimise shrinkage.
• Ensure efficient and accurate auditing of stock and processes as per sectional scorecard to ensure compliance.
• Liaise effectively with internal partners to ensure the smooth running of the section to meet DC requirements.
• Investigate deviations between physical and system stock in order to report and rectify where necessary.
• Adhere to statutory health and safety requirements, housekeeping standards and all other internal policies to ensure compliance.
• Provide support to the picking team by ensuring that the required stock is in the slots to meet infill targets.

Introduction

Clicks is on the hunt for an exceptional Stock Clerk to provide a service to the Inventory department by administering stock movements and stock adjustments within a specific section to ensure that physical stock within the DC balances with stock on the system thus ensuring accurate stockholding to meet customer and scorecard requirements. Position is based at Mahogany Ridge DC Durban.

• To coordinate and maintain stock movement and balances in the section to ensure accuracy of stock
