Job summary

Clicks Group Limited in Cape Town is seeking an Inventory Clerk for our Distribution Centre in Montague Gardens to ensure stock balances with system records and meet customer requirements. The role focuses on inventory accountability, stock movement, and accurate documentation, with duties including daily, weekly and monthly reports and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.

Candidates should have Matric, a logistics qualification is a plus, and 2–3 years in warehouse operations;

• Logistics/warehousing qualification is an advantage.
• 2–3 years in warehouse operations required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain inventory accountability and merchandise movement in the DC.
• Perform roles related to the maintenance and accuracy of stock and warehouse operations.
• Assess the DC’s current inventory status in terms of quality and accuracy and take corrective action when necessary.
• Efficiently compile and distribute daily, weekly and monthly operational reports as per the DC requirements.
• Manage documentation flow and filing to ensure delivery of the company objectives.
• Liaise with business units, internal and external customers and resolve queries to meet DC needs.
