Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with at least 5 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Demonstrated success in handling complex contractual disputes and corporate litigation.
• Solid understanding of civil procedure rules in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Conduct thorough legal research, case analysis, and develop legal strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, affidavits, and other court documents with precision.
• Prepare for and participate in discovery processes, including document review.
• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
• Negotiate settlements and advise clients on risk and outcomes.
• Collaborate with senior partners and legal teams on complex cases.
• Maintain accurate client records and case files.
• Provide clear legal advice to clients and mentor junior staff.
