Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Interview clients and witnesses, prepare them for depositions and testimony.
• Analyze complex factual and legal issues, developing effective case strategies.
• Collaborate with senior partners and other members of the litigation team.

Requirements

• Admitted Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Demonstrated success in handling complex litigation matters.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Excellent drafting and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with court rules and procedures in South Africa.
• Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, demanding work environment in Centurion.
