You will lead venue setup, budgeting, vendor coordination, and risk management for large sporting events, with opportunities to impact major events and grow within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in event operations management, with a focus on sporting events.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale events from conception to completion.
• Strong budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all operational aspects of sporting events, from initial planning through post-event breakdown.
• Develop and implement detailed event operational plans including site layouts, security, transportation, and staffing.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of services and equipment.
• Oversee on-site operations during events, managing staff, volunteers, and resolving issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
• Manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Liaise with venue management and local authorities to secure permits and approvals.
• Develop and execute contingency plans to address risks and emergencies.
• Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
• Manage accreditation processes for participants, staff, and media.
