Placements24 is seeking a passionate Leisure & Sports Event Coordinator to join our Cape Town team. This hybrid role combines office collaboration with remote work, supporting planning and execution of sporting and leisure events across the Western Cape.

You will coordinate vendors, manage registrations, develop timelines and budgets, and provide on-site support to ensure memorable participant experiences. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in event coordination and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing sports and leisure events from concept to post-event review.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams for resources and permits.
• Manage event registration, ticketing, and attendee communication.
• Develop detailed event timelines and budgets, tracking expenses.
• Provide on-site support, troubleshooting, and safety oversight.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote events and manage campaigns.
