Job summary

Mint Wellness Camps Bay, part of the Village n Life hospitality group, seeks a Spa Front Desk Coordinator to support the Spa Wellness Manager in daily operations across spa, salon, gym and wellness areas. You will lead front desk activities, host guests and coordinate facilities to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent educational background.
• Beauty Therapy Certificate, Somatology or Administration Diploma advantageous.
• Previous supervision experience in spa or wellness environments.
• Strong knowledge of spa operations and procedures.
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, ESP and Opera.
• Excellent communication, organisation and guest service skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and solutions focused.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible to work weekends and evenings.
• Collaborative team player with a goal-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support the Spa Wellness Manager with daily operational oversight.
• Supervise Spa Receptionists, Hosts and Housekeeping staff to ensure quality service.
• Manage spa reservations, pre-payments, cancellations and group bookings.
• Coordinate opening/closing procedures and daily reports.
• Handle guest enquiries via phone, email and in person.
• Liaise with Hotel Front Desk on promotions, vouchers and room charges on Opera.
• Maintain front desk organisation and guest records in ESP and Opera.
• Oversee stock, invoices and staff rosters for front desk and housekeeping.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety and high presentation standards across spa and gym areas.
