Job summary

Horizon Energy Group in Soweto seeks an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations, ensure reliability and safety of electrical systems, and lead a team of skilled technicians. You will manage maintenance schedules, implement preventative programs, read schematics, and ensure compliance with safety regulations to support critical facilities in the energy sector.

Qualifications

• A National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5 years in electrical maintenance with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the electrical maintenance team.
• Develop and manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with policies and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults to ensure timely repairs.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure materials availability.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and development for team.
