Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic demeanor.
• Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams, including volunteers.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite).
• Commitment to serving the Soweto community and promoting food security.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate catering for community events, workshops, and programs.
• Develop menus that are nutritious, cost-effective, and cater to diverse dietary needs within the community.
• Manage food procurement, inventory, and budget for all catering activities.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards in food preparation and service areas.
• Recruit, train, and supervise catering staff and volunteers.
