Employment Solutions in Gauteng seeks a Project and Sourcing Coordinator to drive operational excellence in a dynamic retail/FMCG environment. You will manage cross-functional projects, develop plans and trackers, and ensure timely delivery.

The role emphasizes supplier coordination, RFQs, costings, pre-shipment checks and compliance, with use of Microsoft Copilot and AI tools to enhance reporting. 3–5 years’ experience required.

Formación

• Grade 12 / Matric plus relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Commerce, Logistics or related field.
• 3 to 5 years relevant experience in project coordination, sourcing, procurement, supply chain, business operations or similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, and reporting.
• Experience managing multiple projects, stakeholders and deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee pre-shipment inspections and related quality documentation; maintain CAR/CAP records.
• Assist with reporting for international principals, including royalty payments and export/customs docs.

Our client, a leading player in the retail and FMCG sectors, is seeking a dedicated Project and Sourcing Coordinator to support their operational excellence and supply chain effectiveness.

Project Management & Cross-Functional Coordination - 40%

Coordinate projects across different functions and teams.

Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, Gantt charts and action trackers.

Monitor project progress, milestones, risks and potential delays.

Ensure effective communication and accountability between stakeholders.

Prepare project status updates, reports and presentations for management.

Support business improvement and strategic initiatives.

Utilise Microsoft Copilot and other AI tools where appropriate to support project tracking and reporting

Sourcing, Supplier & Vendor Coordination - 60%

Coordinate RFQs, quotations, sourcing briefs, samples and product information.

Coordinate and track product development, sample approvals and costing information.

Assist with supplier scorecards, assessments, factory audits and supplier performance tracking.

Ensure supplier compliance, quality and audit documentation is maintained and up to date.

Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding POs, PIs, invoices, payments and outstanding requirements.

Coordinate and track pre-shipment inspections (PSI) and related quality documentation.

Maintain CAR/CAP records and follow up on outstanding corrective actions.

Assist with reporting relating to international principals, including royalty payments and export/customs documentation where required.

Identify and elevate sourcing risks, delays and outstanding actions.

Prepare sourcing reports, presentations and management updates.

Administration & Coordination

Coordinate meetings with internal stakeholders, suppliers, vendors and other relevant parties.

Prepare meeting agendas, documentation and supporting information where required.

Take and distribute meeting minutes and maintain action trackers.

Maintain accurate and organised sourcing and project files.

Requirements:

Grade 12 / Matric qualification plus relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Commerce, Logistics or a related field Business Administration

3 to 5 years relevant experience in project coordination, sourcing, procurement, supply chain, business operations or a similar role.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, and reporting

Experience managing multiple projects, stakeholders and deadlines.
