Job summary

Dante Personnel seeks a skilled supervisor for our solar/electrical retail operations. The role requires strong stock control, leadership, and customer-focused guidance to select products, provide quotations, and support basic technical decisions.

Applicants should have Matric and at least 5 years in solar or related fields; experience with suppliers, pricing, and warranties is essential. Proficiency with MS Office and POS systems is expected; a valid Code B license is required.

Qualifications

Matric is required.
Electrical, solar, technical or operations qualification advantageous.
5 years’ relevant experience in solar, electrical, technical retail, operations or related env.
Proven electrical experience with solar PV systems and electrical equipment.
Experience managing a shop, branch or operational environment.
Strong stock control and inventory management experience.
Experience dealing with suppliers, purchasing, pricing, lead times, warranties and returns.
Proven experience supervising and leading a team.
Ability to provide product selection, quotations and basic technical guidance.
Strong computer literacy including MS Office, email and inventory/POS systems.
Experience with invoicing, ordering and reporting systems advantageous.
Valid Code B driver’s licence and own transport.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Experience in solar/battery storage or telecom backup power industry advantageous.
Experience in SME environments advantageous.
Basic understanding of SHEQ and compliance in electrical retail/warehouse.
