Qualifications
- Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- Experience as Solar Technician or similar electrical install role.
- Strong knowledge of PV components and configurations.
- Experience with electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
- Able to work at heights and in various weather.
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and maintain PV systems including panels, inverters, mounting hardware.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions.
- Conduct routine maintenance for performance and longevity.
- Read blueprints and manuals to ensure accurate installations.
- Follow safety protocols and electrical codes during work.
- Provide client explanations about solar energy systems.
