You will work directly with homeowners and business owners, educating them on system operation, and traveling to job sites within the Pretoria area. A strong focus on safety, physical fitness, and customer satisfaction is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solar Installation Technician or in a related field.
• Strong understanding of solar PV systems and electrical safety.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals.
• Physical ability to work at heights and lift heavy objects, in various weather.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; willingness to travel in Pretoria.

Responsibilities

• Install solar panels, mounting hardware, inverters, and electrical equipment according to design specifications and safety protocols.
• Perform electrical wiring and connections in compliance with NEC and local regulations.
• Conduct system testing and commissioning after installation to verify performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair existing solar installations as needed.
• Educate customers on operation and maintenance of their solar energy system.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite and properly store tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
