Placements24 in Paarl, Western Cape, seeks a compassionate Social Worker to provide psychosocial support, case management, and resource linkage for vulnerable individuals and families. You will advocate for client rights, coordinate services, and stay informed on social welfare policies.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance community wellbeing, deliver direct interventions, and contribute to program development across the Western Cape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) or equivalent qualification.
• Registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).
• Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in direct social work practice.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual and family counseling and support services to clients in need.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of client needs, strengths, and challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized service plans in collaboration with clients.
• Connect clients with appropriate community resources, referrals, and support networks.
• Advocate for clients' rights and access to essential services.
• Maintain accurate and confidential case records, documenting interventions and progress.
• Facilitate support groups and psychoeducational workshops for clients and community members.
