Qualifications

• Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) or equivalent is required and SACSSP registration is mandatory.
• Strong assessment, counselling and crisis intervention skills.
• Experience in family support or child welfare is preferred.
• Proficiency in case management, report writing and thorough documentation.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of families and individuals.
• Develop and implement individualized case management plans.
• Provide counselling and therapeutic interventions to families and children.
• Facilitate access to community resources including housing, healthcare, and employment services.
• Advocate for clients' rights and needs within legal and social systems.
• Conduct home visits and in-person client meetings as required by the case plan.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, up-to-date case records and documentation.
• Collaborate with educators, healthcare providers, and legal representatives.
• Organize and facilitate support groups for families.
• Respond to crisis situations with immediate intervention and support.
