Job summary

Placements24 in Paarl, Western Cape, seeks a compassionate Social Worker to provide psychosocial support, case management, and resource linkage for vulnerable individuals and families. You will advocate for client rights, coordinate services, and stay informed on social welfare policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) or equivalent qualification.
• Registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).
• Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in direct social work practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family counseling and support services to clients in need.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of client needs, strengths, and challenges.
