Job summary

Fempower Personnel is seeking an Investment Banker Associate for its client in Centurion, focusing on M&A and capital raising.

You will build detailed financial models (DCF, LBO, comps), conduct market research, prepare client materials, and support deal execution. Requires MBA and 3–5 years in investment banking or related fields. A dynamic, fast-paced environment with significant deal flow.

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity.
• Expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and quantitative analysis.
• Familiarity with the South African banking and finance landscape and regulatory environment.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the origination and execution of mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and capital markets transactions.
• Develop detailed financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF), leveraged buyout (LBO), and comparable company analyses.
• Conduct comprehensive industry research and company analysis to identify potential targets or strategic opportunities.
• Prepare client presentation materials, including pitch books, prospectuses, and confidential information memorandums.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate with various stakeholders throughout the deal process.
• Support senior bankers in all aspects of transaction management and client service.
