Placements24 is seeking an Investment Banking Associate for our client in Tembisa, Gauteng. This hybrid role blends in-office collaboration with remote flexibility to support high-stakes transactions across M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory.

The successful candidate will build financial models, conduct valuations, prepare client presentations, and coordinate with clients, legal counsel, and other advisors. A strong finance background and proven deal experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related field.
• 3–5 years in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and DCF skills.
• Proficient Excel, PowerPoint and Bloomberg/Refinitiv.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing complex financial transactions (M&A, debt, equity).
• Develop financial models, valuations, and client presentations.
