Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Social Impact Program Manager for our Benoni, Gauteng office. You will design, implement, and oversee programs that create positive social change for communities in Benoni and surrounding areas.

The role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and proven project management skills to manage a portfolio of initiatives, monitor KPIs, manage budgets, and report to stakeholders. A hybrid work model with in-office presence in Benoni is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of program management experience in non-profit or social development.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of social development issues in Gauteng.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with budget oversight and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic social impact programs in Benoni and Gauteng.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle from planning to evaluation.
• Manage program budgets and ensure financial accountability.
• Monitor KPIs and report progress to stakeholders.
• Build relationships with community members, authorities, and partners.
• Lead and mentor staff and volunteers.
• Support fundraising through program information for grants.
• Stay updated on best practices in social development.
