Job summary

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd seeks an IT-OT Convergence specialist to provide specialist application support and consulting across engineering IT/OT systems. You will help integrate information technology with operational technology within the Engineering Convergence unit, supporting production and data analytics.

The role requires 5+ years in engineering applications and power-utility knowledge, a relevant degree, and ability to work in a dynamic matrix environment at the Sunninghill/GAUTENG site.

Qualifications

• B Degree/B Tech in Engineering/Information Technology/Systems at NQF 7 with Credits 360.
• 5 Years’ experience in Engineering application and systems experience and power utility specialist knowledge in electricity utility.

Responsibilities

• Provide a consultative service to customers.
• Formulation and development of IT-OT information assets and domains and identify gaps.
• Responsible for the testing of solutions.
• Provide user support for logged problems and information requests.
• Provide system solution training.
• Monitor the status of the production interface jobs.
