Zusammenfassung

Cementation Africa invites qualified candidates for the Training Assessor (Site) role to be placed at Bentley Park. The successful candidate reports to the Training Officer Site and will be included in the company’s training academy processes.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering assessments, conducting learner assessments, and maintaining records in line with the training SLA. All appointments align with the company's employment equity strategy.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum qualification: Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Certificate in Occupationally Directed Education Training and Development Practices Level 4 is required.
• Assessor Certificate with active MQA registration for scope of assessment is required.

Aufgaben

• Plan, organise and deliver assessment outcomes per the training service level agreement for the project.
• Conduct learner assessments, identify gaps, and coach to address shortfalls in line with schedule and site requirements.
• Conduct pre-assessment meetings with learners and record outcomes.
• Perform quality checks on training equipment, materials and assessment instruments; escalate damages promptly.
• Manage learner assessment disputes/appeals and escalate when needed.
• Maintain fair assessment judgments and control discipline during training and assessment.
• Meet with site training personnel to establish training requirements and provide progress feedback.
• Brief stakeholders on training arrangements and timelines to avoid production disruptions.
• Compile assessment guides, reports and portfolios, submit documentation on time and maintain records.
• Carry out assessments that are fair, valid, reliable and bias-free.

Ausbildung

Grade 12 or equivalent

Assessor Certificate (Active Assessor registration with the MQA for scope of assessment)
