Driving Sense (Pty) Ltd., a leading provider in occupational training and skills development, is seeking a qualified and experienced Assessor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, conducting, and documenting learner assessments in line with TETA standards, as well as mentoring and guiding learners throughout their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct assessments according to unit standards and TETA requirements.
• Inform learners of assessment processes, unit standards, and timing.
• Guide learners in evidence collection and planning.
• Maintain regular contact with learners and provide structured induction and orientation.
• Assess learner knowledge and practical performance against learning objectives.
• Apply the principles of fairness, transparency, and inclusivity in all assessments.
• Ensure evidence meets the principles of Validity, Authenticity, Currency, and Sufficiency (VACS).
• Maintain accurate records of learner achievements and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure compliance with Driving Senses assessment tools, plans, and documentation standards.
• Coordinate reassessment and provide support where competence is not yet achieved.
• Comply with all legislative requirements, including Equal Opportunity and Health & Safety.
• Participate in internal verification and quality assurance processes.
